Job Description

We are on the hunt for a talented Backend Developer with a passion for generative AI. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Python, have the eagerness to dive into the world of AI technologies, possess robust system administration skills and be adept at deploying AI applications, and mastering the art of effective AI model prompting.

Location:

• Tallinn office (Tatari tn 64, 10134 Tallinn, Estonia)
• And/or remote and asynchronous

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Python, FastAPI, LangChain, PyTorch, etc.
• Work with generative AI models, including various LLMs and Stable Diffusion, and be adept at crafting effective prompts.
• Efficiently work with Docker for application and model deployment and management.
• Implement real-time streaming solutions to reduce latency via Server-Sent Events, WebSocket and WebRTC.
• Maintain and optimize server and database environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in AI technology and continuously enhance skills.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in backend development, especially with Python (and optionally JavaScript).
• Experience and interest in working with AI models, vector embeddings, and skillful in AI prompting.
• Solid understanding of database management and web application architecture.
• Knowledge of system administration, including experience with Docker.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in English.
• Junior to mid-level experience.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript and SvelteKit, have the eagerness to dive into the world of AI technologies, possess robust system administration skills and be adept at deploying AI applications, and mastering the art of effective AI model prompting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, SvelteKit, and related frameworks.
• Work with generative AI models and be adept at crafting effective prompts.
• Efficiently work with Docker for application deployment and management.
• Efficiently utilize modern deployment tools and CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and seamless application updates.
• Ensure high-performance applications with a focus on user experience and responsiveness.
• Maintain and optimize server and database environments.
• Implement visual elements using Shadcn-Svelte.
• Convert web applications to mobile using Capacitor.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in AI technology and continuously enhance skills.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in full-stack development, especially with TypeScript, JavaScript, and SvelteKit.
• Proficient with Svelte 5.
• Knowledge of related system administration, including experience with Docker.
• Experience and interest in working with AI models and skillful in AI prompting.
• Solid understanding of database management and web application architecture.
• Experience with mobile development (e.g., Capacitor/Ionic).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in English.
• Experience with Python and FastAPI could be beneficial but not required.
• Mid-level experience.
